MEET COACH CHYE
Section Subtitle

It all began with a little girl and a big dream. At just 17 years old in 2017, Dachye Stubbs envisioned creating an organization for young girls who shared her passion for softball—and from that vision, BAP was born.
Fueled by her love for the game, Dachye has played a pivotal role in revitalizing youth softball in The Bahamas. Through BAP, she has provided opportunities for athletes to train, compete, and grow—both on and off the field. The program now offers exposure through travel ball, local and international camps, showcase tournaments, academic and athletic recruiting resources, and mentorship.
Since its launch, BAP has transformed the youth softball landscape. What began with just 26 players at the first annual All-Star Week in 2018 has grown into a nationwide movement, with more than 120+ athletes now participating in All-Star Week and travel ball teams.
For Coach Chye, the most rewarding part of the journey is watching young athletes grow from grassroots beginners into collegiate players—and, most importantly, into confident and accomplished young women.
